    Organic Creamery unveils garden-themed contest, new packaging

    DCI Cheese Co. has introduced “Goodness. Naturally.,” an enter-to-win contest in support of Organic Creamery, a brand the manufacturer says offers the most extensive line of certified-organic cheese varieties in the United States.

    One grand-prize contest winner will receive a $500 gift card that can be used to buy a range of gardening supplies. Additionally, the product line now boasts redesigned packaging spotlighting the brand’s eco-friendly, handmade profile.

    Shoppers will encounter in-store shelf talkers with tearpads featuring contest information and a coupon at participating retailers. Smartphone owners can also go directly towww.OrganicCreameryCheese.com  for recipes and wine pairings by way of the promotional display’s QR code. Further website features include an online entry form, contest rules and a section of gardening tips and tricks. The promotion runs through June 30.

    “Matching Organic Creamery cheese with home-grown produce is a great way to ensure that the food your family consumes is as close to nature as possible,” noted Katie Jury, marketing manager at Richfield, Wis.-based DCI. “This contest gives one winner ‘seed money’ they can use to start their own eco-friendly garden.”
