    “All parents want to arm their kids with the tools they need to succeed as they head back to school,” observed Chris Neppl, EVP of merchandising at Natick, Mass.-based BJ’s Wholesale Club. “While many families are on tight budgets this year, stocking up on the back-to-school essentials is economical and convenient with BJ’s Wholesale Club’s wide assortment of fresh meats, vegetables and fruits, filled with healthy vitamins to sneak into their favorite foods.”

    “In addition to the health benefits of the Sneaky Chef recipes, many of the meals can be made for less than $2 per person,” added Lapine. “By shopping at BJ’s Wholesale Club, families can also sneak in the savings, making healthy meals that can also result in some hefty value.”

    Among the recipes, which can be found on BJ’s Web site, are Breakfast Ice Cream (frozen berries, yogurt, milk and bananas) and Pizza Party (a portable handheld item featuring whole grains, veggies and calcium), Take a Dip (homemade crunchy corn “chips” with an assortment of healthy dips such as Half-and-Half Ranch, PB & Hummus Dip, and Strawberry Cheesecake Dip).
