4C Foods Corp. Recalls Grated Cheese
BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- 4C Foods Corp. said it issued a recall of 8.8-ounce packages of 4C Parmesan Grated Cheese because of the presence of cellulose in the product.
The cheese has the UPC code #41387-61190 and a product code of Oct. 18 2009.
Quincy, Mass.-based Stop & Shop said in a statement that it had removed all packages of the recalled product from its shelves, and has advised all customers who still may have the product to discard it or return it to any Stop & Shop store for a full refund.
