AFFI Head Reappointed to U.S Chamber of Commerce Group

American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) President and CEO Kraig R. Naasz has been reappointed to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Association Committee of 100 (C-100).

Founded in 1958, the C-100 comprises the nation’s top association chief executives and is the main policy-originating body for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The committee also assists the U.S. Chamber’s issue advocacy and coalition efforts, and works to expand the organization’s outreach to the business and trade association communities.

Naasz was first invited to join the committee in 2006. The most recent invitation to extend his service on the C-100 was extended by U.S. Chamber of Commerce Chairman Steve Van Andel, of Amway.

The C-100 meets annually, usually in June and December, and is currently chaired by American Beverage Association President and CEO Susan Neely.

AFFI values its working relationship with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce,” said the McLean, Va.-based trade association’s chairman, Jeff Varcoe, of The Schwan Food Co., in Marshall, Minn.
