Paul Greenan has been promoted to the position of VP affiliated business development at Associate Grocers of New England. “In his new position,” says Mike Bourgoine, CEO and president of Pembroke, N.H.-based AG New England, “Paul will be responsible for the sales, profitability and competitiveness of the company’s affiliate store business. He will work directly with some of our key multistore accounts as well as all wholesale-to-wholesale business.”
An AG New England employee for more than 28 years, Greenan (left) has held various positions throughout the company, most recently of retail accounts manager. According to Bourgoine, “Paul’s willingness to assist others and his knowledge of AG New England’s systems and programs have earned him the utmost respect from his coworkers.”
Owned entirely by independent retail grocers as members of a cooperative, AG New England is the largest retailer-owned, wholesale grocery distribution center in New England. The company serves independent retail food stores in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and the upstate New York/Albany area.
