Ahold's Director Corporate Communications Departs
AMSTERDAM -- Walter Samuels, who was appointed director corporate communications at Ahold here in 2003, has left the retail conglomerate to pursue other business opportunities.
"It has been a great honor and experience to support this company and its executive board in the last five years," said Samuels in a statement. "Currently I am starting my own business outside the company, focusing on the organization of events, media projects, and interim management."
The company has not yet announced Samuels' successor.
