    Albertsons Market Launches Pinterest Campaign

    The campaign celebrates women who have shaped customers’ lives

    Albertsons Market has launched a photo contest on social media platform Pinterest through which participants can honor sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, daughters and friends through vintage, timeless photos.

    The campaign, called, “Timeless Women We Love,” was developed to celebrate the women who have shaped our lives, and customers can enter for a chance to win the grand prize – a year's worth of Just Add Ice Orchids and a $100 gift card to their favorite Albertsons Market store.

    "We all have women in our lives who have inspired us, made us laugh, and made us the person we are today and we want to help our customers celebrate that this year," said Jana Jeffery, digital community manager for Albertson's LLC. "Through Pinterest, our customers will help create a stunning collection of photos and memories that we can share with the world to show our gratitude to the women in our lives."

    The contest launched Sunday, April 29 and will end on Friday, May 11, and winners will be announced Saturday, May 12. Albertsons Market customers and Pinterest fans create their own "Timeless Women" pin board with photo descriptions that include the hashtag #TimelessWomen. Customers then visit the Albertsons Market Facebook page to sign-up and submit the URL for their Pinterest board for a chance to win. Select photos will be repinned to the Albertsons Market Pinterest board and featured on the company's Facebook page and Twitter feeds.

    Boise, Idaho-based, privately-owned Albertson’s LLC operates more than 200 stores under the Albertson’s banner in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas.
