Anheuser-Busch to Debut "Budweiser American Ale" in Fall
Starting Sept. 15, Anheuser-Busch will show off a new addition to the family, Budweiser American Ale, an all-malt, top-fermented ale, the leading brewer said.
A-B called the new brew "robust and well-rounded,' and said its amber color and "bright, hoppy finish" will complement the iconic Budweiser lager, which is gold in color and crisp in flavor.
"Budweiser American Ale is brewed with barley from America's heartland and dry hopped with Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest," the brewer said. "The beer is best served in a bulbed pint glass to showcase the rich, amber color and channel the sweet malt and spicy Cascade hop aromas to the nose."
