The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc. (A&P) has hired Carter Knox as its SVP, human resources & communications.
Knox brings over 30 years in various management positions within retail sales management and merchandising to his newest role. Before joining A&P, he was SVP, human resources for OfficeMax. His grocery industry experience includes positions of increasing responsibility with the Kroger Co.’s Fred Meyer division.
As A&P’s SVP human resources & communications, Knox will oversee the grocer’s human resources, field and corporate, labor relations, public relations, and communications departments.
