A&P Banners Lower Prices on Generic Prescriptions
A&P, SuperFresh, Waldbaum’s and Pathmark stores are reducing prices on over 400 generic prescription drugs to just $3.99, for up to a 30-day supply. A full list of medications covered under the plan, which includes prescription treatments for allergies, asthma, cold and flu, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, fungal infections, viruses and other common ailments, is available on the banners’ Web sites.
According to the Montvale, N.J.-based Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., members of the banners’ Live Better! Wellness Club will not only be able to take advantage of lower-priced generics, but they can also benefit from other Live Better! savings throughout the store.
The $3.99 pharmacy plan at A&P SuperFresh and Waldbaum’s is in line with those banners’ recently introduced Lower Price Project, which aims to slash prices on thousands of items across categories.
