In the wake of a major storm that slammed into the Northeast last weekend, leaving parts of the New York metropolitan area flooded and without power or passable roads, A&P offered “must-clip” coupons Friday to help shoppers re-stock their pantries and other areas of the house. The coupons can be used at A&P, Waldbaum’s and Pathmark stores.

The March 19 editions of select newspapers throughout New Jersey, New York and Connecticut ran coupons for $10 off a $100 purchase or $7 off a $75 purchase to use during their next trip to the store.

“As many customers lost power, endured flooding and lost food supplies, A&P would like to aid its loyal customers and thank them for their continued support,” noted the Montvale, N.J.-based grocer.
