    A&P Rolls Out Weekly In-store Shopping Guides

    To help maximize shopper savings, the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc. has introduced a series of weekly shopping guides offering in-store advertised specials, money-saving coupons and extra values that are unavailable elsewhere.

    To help maximize shopper savings, the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc. has introduced a series of weekly shopping guides offering in-store advertised specials, money-saving coupons and extra values that are unavailable elsewhere. Starting this month, A&P, Waldbaum’s, SuperFresh and Pathmark shoppers will be to pick up the new guides in store.

    The current guide features exclusive coupons and special deals on a range of frozen foods, produce and grocery items, among them A&P’s lineup of private label products, in addition to popular national brands. To take advantage of these savings, customers must present their club card, along with the clipped coupons.

    “Today, more than ever, shoppers are looking for more savings, and A&P’s family of supermarkets [offers] a comprehensive portfolio of savings, including our partnership with Coupons.com [and] our online digital coupons [that] link savings directly on our club cards, and now our special good deals guide provides even more value for our loyal customers,” noted SVP marketing and communications Jennifer MacLeod. “This is another great way for our customers to save big, especially when combined with our already unbeatable prices and other dynamic money-saving programs.”

    Montvale, N.J.-based A&P operates 435 stores in eight states and the District of Columbia under the following banners: A&P, Waldbaum’s, Pathmark, Best Cellars, The Food Emporium, Super Foodmart, SuperFresh and Food Basics.
