Asian Concept Grocer 99 Ranch Market to Enter North Texas

Asian-themed grocer 99 Ranch Market plans to open a its first store in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area at the Spring Creek Crossing shopping center in Plano, which is currently under development.

The 60,000-square-foot store will serve as the shopping center’s anchor. The Buena Park, Calif.-based supermarket’s stores are largely concentrated on the West Coast, but the company is expanding into Texas by opening this Plano location while concurrently opening a store in Houston.

“Through a very competitive process, we were able to secure the perfect anchor tenant for our project,” said Steven Levin, president of Dallas-based Centennial Real Estate, which is developing the center in a joint venture with Westmount Realty Capital, also in Dallas. “There are many centers 99 Ranch could have chosen, but Spring Creek Crossing’s dominant location and high visibility won them over. Importantly, this transaction also allows us to kick off our redevelopment project, including renaming the center 99 Ranch Marketplace.”

No grand opening date has been announced yet.
