Grocerant Summit 2016: Building the Grocerant Experience

Progressive Grocer is building on the tremendous reception of its 2015 Grocerant Summit by digging deeper into the essence of any successful grocerant program: customer experience.

“Building the Grocerant Experience” will take place Oct. 25-26, 2016, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center, in suburban Chicago.

The 2016 Grocerant Summit will attempt to retain the intimate feel that attendees appreciated with the inaugural event, but is moving to a larger venue to accommodate a greater experience.

“Successful grocerants start and end with the customer experience,” says Jeffrey Friedman, VP/Group Publisher at Stagnito Business Information + Edgell Communications, parent company of Progressive Grocer. “The goal of the 2016 Grocerant Summit is to help retailers define their program based on their customers, and connect them with the resources and collaborators that can help them achieve their goals.”

Grocerant investments will be among the largest that grocery retailers will make, so helping retailers identify the right leadership, the relevant business models, and defining the steps involved in successful execution will ensure a healthy return on that investment.

Building the Grocerant Experience promises to be a unique conference experience that will open retailers’ eyes to new possibilities designed for optimal consumer engagement – from physical design to packaging, from employee engagement to better business practices.
