Sixty-three Bashas’ stores and 48 Food City locations in the Southwest will have their websites powered by Colchester, Vt.-based MyWebGrocer, to provide enhanced functionality including weekly e-mails with ad specials, shopping lists, and meal ideas.
“We strive to always improve our services to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs,” said Robert Ortiz, VP of sales and marketing for Chandler, Ariz.-based Bashas’ Family of Stores. “This is another example of how we're bringing value to our customers.”
In addition, Bashas’ and Food City vendors can feature relevant, targeted digital ads to feature popular brands. Ads are actionable; with one click, customers can add a product to their shopping list.
MyWebGrocer drives digital connections between consumers, grocery retailers, and consumer packaged goods brands. It manages digital solutions for more than 130 retailers nationally, representing more than 10,000 stores, and more than 90 major CPG brands.
Bashas’ operates more than 120 grocery stores under the banners of Food City, AJ’s Fine Foods, Sportsman’s Fine Wines & Spirits, Eddie’s Country Store, and both Bashas’ and Bashas’ Diné markets.
