    Bear Naked Brand Urges Fans to ‘One Up It’

    Brand teams with U.S. Olympians to launch social media contest

    The Bear Naked granola brand has teamed up with U.S. Olympic gold medalist Hanna Kearney and 2014 U.S. Winter Olympic hopeful Chas Guldemond to offer consumers four weekly #OneUpIt challenges on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for a chance to win winter sports gear.

    Beginning today, fans can enter by posting photos and videos demonstrating how they elevate their winter experiences on their Twitter or Instagram feeds or Bear Naked’s Facebook wall using the #OneUpIt hashtag. Each Monday through Feb. 16, the brand will issue a new challenge theme, including “Stick the Landing,” “Wicked 180,” “The Air Up There” and “Make Your Mark.”

    "With delicious flavors like Maple Pecan and Triple Berry Crunch, Bear Naked is already elevating the granola scene – so we wanted to partner with athletes who are doing the same in their sport," said Bear Naked Marketing Director John King. "We're excited to see how Hannah and Chas, who believe in the power of simple and recognizable ingredients, inspire our fans to share their awesome experiences."

    To support the promotion, Bear Naked has also partnered with Recommended Media and Devin “SuperTramp” Graham, the man behind the popular extreme YouTube videos, to provide additional inspiration to adventure-seekers.
