    Lunchmeat company’s promotions help music lovers celebrate summer

    Land O'Frost, the United States’ No. 3 lunchmeat brand, is giving away $50,000 worth of concert tickets through its “Pick Your Ticket” promotion. An additional 250,000 consumers will receive free Universal Music downloads from music artists, including hit media sensation Greyson Chance.

    Specially marked packages of Land O'Frost lunchmeat will feature Pick Your Ticket game pieces that could be worth a $250 Ticketmaster Gift Card. Consumers can enter by visiting www.LandOMoms.com and typing in the codes on their respective game pieces. Every Monday for eight weeks, Land O’Frost will randomly pick 25 winners to receive a $250 gift cards to Ticketmaster. The total prize value adds up to $50,000. The first drawing will take place on Monday, May 16, with the entry period continuing until the final drawing on Wednesday, July 6.

    “Summer is a time to relax and have fun,” noted Land O’Frost VP of marketing Stephan Williams. “We think that music plays a big part in everyone's summer -- from going to concerts to playing your favorite song during a backyard barbeque. We want to have fun with our customers this summer by giving them the gift of music.”

    As well as Pick Your Ticket, Land O’Frost fans can keep the music playing by visiting the website, completing a quick nine-question survey, and receiving a free music download from Universal for songs by popular artists like the aforementioned Chance.

    The largest family-owned brand of packaged lunchmeat, Lansing, Ill.-based Land O’Frost also manufactures specialty meat products sold to restaurants and major food manufacturers. The company operates three facilities in Lansing; Madisonville, Ky.; and Searcy, Ark.
