Bi-Lo’s new satisfaction guarantee gives customers double their money back if they’re unsatisfied with any item bought at one of the chain’s locations – regardless of the reason. The policy, which the Mauldin, S.C.-based company says surpasses any of its competitors’ savings programs, covers all products sold in Bi-Lo stores.
“We strive to deliver the freshest quality products along with a dedication to our customers that extends beyond our ‘savings without sacrifice’ promise,” said Bi-Lo president and CEO Michael Byars. “Our satisfaction guarantee is a valuable addition to our company’s foundation and another example of our ongoing efforts to be the store that saves you more.”
The guarantee joins such Bi-Lo savings initiatives as the fuelperks! gas rewards program; “Price Lock,” which fixes extra-low prices for an eight-week time frame; Bi-Lo Bonuscard deals offering special discounts throughout the store; Super BOGOs in every department, $4 generic prescriptions covering more than 400 medications, with no enrollment fee necessary; double value on manufacturers’ coupons up to 60 cents; a 5 percent discount for senior citizens every Wednesday; My Bi-Lo.com, which helps shoppers maximize their savings with coupons, free samples, special recipes, prescription refills and other customized services; “Meal Deals” enabling customers to buy specially priced products and get complementary items at no charge; and value-priced private label items
Bi-Lo operates 207 supermarkets in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee, employing about 15,100 people.
