Big Y Extends Partnership With Hockey Team
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Big Y Foods here and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League said last week they have signed a two-year corporate partnership agreement. Falcons president and g.m. Bruce Landon described the retailer as "a very loyal supporter of Springfield hockey for many years."
According to the retailer, the relationship with the team goes back over 15 years.
Under the agreement, Big Y and the Falcons and Big Y Foods will once more join forces to offer fans a discount ticket for select nights when they present their Big Y Savings Card at the MassMutual Center Box Office.
Big Y's logo will also appear on signage on the MassMutual Center center-hung video board, as well as on rink board signage inside the arena.
