BJ’s Wholesale Club will use PeopleAnswers’ HR solution to help select associates in all of the warehouse club retailer’s locations across 15 eastern states, while bringing greater efficiency to the hiring process.
BJ’s already uses the vendor’s pre-employment assessment software as a tool for identifying, selecting and hiring candidates for hourly positions in 15 of its clubs. Over the next several months, the company will roll out the solution to its remaining 177 clubs. The goal is to bring additional consistency to BJ’s hiring process for its clubs, as well as to leverage a tool that can support a rising number of job candidates as more clubs open.

PeopleAnswers identifies the Behavioral DNA of existing team members to create customized, behaviorally based performance profiles. These profiles help identify those who meet BJ’s hiring criteria. After candidates complete the PeopleAnswers assessment, the software matches them with the BJ’s positions that best correspond with their existing behaviors and tendencies. BJ’s human resources and hiring managers will also use PeopleAnswers as a guide for interview content.
