NATICK, Mass. -- BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. here has received the Best in Collaboration Award from Scottsdale, Ariz.-based JDA Software Group for the retailer's partnership with Pharmavite, LLC, employing the JDA Marketplace Replenishment and Advanced Store Replenishment by E3 software.

BJ's and Mission Hills, Calif.-based Pharmavite first joined forces in November 2005 to support members with better inventory position and a streamlined process for introducing new items. The results of this collaboration, according to JDA, "have surpassed all expectations by maintaining a shelf in-stock percentage of 99 percent while drastically reducing inventory investment."

Additionally, Pharmavite has been able to better control its internal supply chain, thereby providing BJ's with improved service levels.

Scott Sigel, BJ's assistant v.p. of logistics systems and processes, was on hand to accept the award at the JDA Focus Convention in New Orleans in mid-April.

BJ's operates 174 clubs and 96 gas stations. Pharmavite's brands include Nature Made, Nature's Resource, and Olay Vitamins.
