Blue Bunny Marks A&P 150th Birthday With Cake Contest
Blue Bunny Ice Cream and Chef Duff, star of the Food Network series “Ace of Cakes,” are helping Montvale, N.J.-based A&P celebrate its 150th birthday by holding a contest in which a participant can win a made-to-order cake from Chef Duff’s Charm City Cakes bakery and a two-person pass to the A&P birthday bash at the Central Park Boat House. Forty-nine runners-up will receive a two-person pass for the exclusive Central Park celebration, which will take place Sept. 22.
Consumers wishing to take part must submit essays of no longer than 500 words detailing a favorite birthday party memory, along with any appropriate images. The contest is open to legal residents of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Entries will be judged for their creativity and must be postmarked on or before Sept. 4, 2009.
