Boar’s Head Sets off on Bold Online Flavor Adventure

Sweepstakes offers chances to win trips to exotic locales

Boar’s Head Brand is giving consumers the chance to win an all-expense paid exotic getaway for two through its Discover Bold Flavor Sweepstakes. The contest promotes the launch of Boar’s Head Bold, a line of globally inspired deli meats and cheeses including Jerk Turkey Breast inspired by Jamaica, Chipotle Chicken Breast influenced by Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, 3 Pepper Colby Jack Cheese inspired by Brazil, and Chipotle Gouda infused with the flavors of Veracruz, Mexico.

Through June 30, Boar’s Head fans can register online for a virtual passport and collect five stamps. Registrants can collect four of the stamps by exploring the regions that inspired the Boar’s Head Bold line on the dedicated site and the fifth stamp by visiting any deli or store carrying Boar’s Head in search of a promotion code. Once all five stamps are collected, registrants will be entered for a chance to win the all-expense-paid trips to the winner’s choice of Jamaica, Veracruz, Mexico, Brazil or Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.

Additional awards are a first prize of a $10 iTunes gift card to the first 1,000 registrants to complete their online virtual passport with all five stamps collected, and a random instant-win prize of four $25 gift cards to purchase Boar’s Head Bold, given every day of the sweepstakes, to those who register for an online passport.

Boar’s Head Bold has really struck a chord with the many people who have learned to love bright, bold and exotic flavors of other cultures and want an easy way to enjoy those flavors at home,” noted RuthAnn LaMore, director of communications for the Sarasota, Fla.-based brand. “The Bold Flavor Sweepstakes is our way of connecting the appeal of the locations that inspired the flavors of Boar's Head Bold to the fans who have really embraced the products, and use it as a platform to inform, engage and reward.”
