Bottom Dollar Food has kicked off its Freshdown! Facebook Sweepstakes, which gives customers the chance to win $1,000 in game-day groceries this football season when they purchase fresh food items.
Customers can take part in the sweepstakes through Oct. 9 by visiting Bottom Dollar’s Facebook page and registering their 12-digit Membership Card number. Each time a shopper buys a fresh meat or produce item in any Bottom Dollar Food location during the campaign, he or she will receive an additional sweepstakes entry. During the promotion, the Delhaize America banner will provide weekly Special Buys on meat and produce in two exclusive, chef-created tailgate-themed recipes.
“At Bottom Dollar Food, we consider offering customers the lowest prices on fresh meat and produce a touchdown,” said Leslie Atkinson, the chain’s director of marketing and brand strategy.
Sweepstakes entrants will also be eligible for weekly drawings for $50 Bottom Dollar Food gift cards. Participants can view cooking demos and chef-created, affordable recipes on the grocer’s Facebook page during the campaign. The grand-prize winner, who will receive $1,000 in Bottom Dollar Food groceries, will be revealed in early November.
Customers without a Bottom Dollar Food Membership Card can sign up at no charge at any Bottom Dollar Food store or online.
