    B&R Stores to Deploy Price and Promotion Optimization Soluition

    The grocer will use the system to deliver greater value to customers

    Regional independent B&R Stores plans to deploy a price and promotion optimization solution to ensure that it is delivering value for its shoppers.

    The grocer will use the PriceStrat solution from dunnhumby-owned Florham Park, N.J.-based KSS Retail, which is developed to provide real-time modeling of regular and promotional pricing with the ability to look at pricing by price zones, as well as customer segments.

    “Our success has been built by truly understanding our customer and delivering value and service,” said Pat Raybould, President of B&R Stores. “Leveraging the KSS Retail PriceStrat solution, we will be able to more intimately understand our shopper, deliver pricing and promotions that matter, and improve the shopping experience.”

    Founded in 1962 by Russ Raybould and Clayton Burnett, Lincoln, Neb.-based B&R Stores, Inc., is an employee-owned corporation that operates 17 stores located in seven cities across Nebraska and Iowa.
