Brookhaven Marketplace in Illinois has become the latest grocery store operator to install the ADUSA S4G Fresh Foods kiosk system.
“Our delis get very busy, and we have some long lines, so we had to do something,” explained John Peter Bertakis, general manager at Brookhaven Marketplace. “ADUSA’s kiosk is a cost-effective alternative to remodeling, or adding extra capacity.”
“Brookhaven [is] a progressive, growing chain of stores that we feel will do very well with the kiosk,” added Juan C. Perez, president of Lombard, Ill.-based ADUSA Inc., which provides the No. 1-selling deli kiosks in supermarkets.
The kiosk is now live in the Mokena, Ill., Brookhaven location and will be evaluated further before a decision is made to deploy kiosks in the grocer’s two other stores.
Among the vendor’s clients are Angelo Caputo’s Fresh Market, The Defense Commissary Agency, Dorothy Lane Market, Foodtown, Fred Meyer, Kroger, Price Chopper, Stew Leonard’s, Strack & Van Til, and Sunset Foods.
