LUFKIN, Texas -- Brookshire Bros. Grocery yesterday recognized Florham Park, N.J-based price optimization solution provider KSS Retail as its Marketing Vendor of the Year, making KSS the first technology vendor to receive this award.
Each year, Brookshire Brothers awards its top vendor for outstanding contributions and positive impact on its business. Past winners have included Coca Cola, Miller Brewing, Frito Lay, and Gatorade.
Brookshire uses the vendor's price optimization solution for regular and promotional pricing, and has seen significant financial results from using the system.
"The KSS team has been great to work with and using its price optimization solution, we have realized more than double the return we were expecting," said Kevin Flanagan, v.p. of marketing at Brookshire. "Our goal is to provide value for our customers, and KSS has become an invaluable merchant tool for achieving this."
Brookshire Bros. operates more than 70 stores throughout east Texas, and is also one of the leading retail distributors of Conoco branded gasoline.
