    Celestial Seasonings Celebrates 40

    Brand launches lullaby video contest, Sleepytime line extensions

    In honor of the brand’s 40th anniversary, Celestial Seasonings is inviting consumers to take part in the “Sing Your Way to Sleepytime” lullaby video contest by submitting a video of their favorite lullaby moment through Oct. 31. One grand-prize winner will receive a $5,000 Pottery Barn gift card; nine finalists will each receive a $400 gift card and a year’s supply of Sleepytime products.

    “Many of our consumers tell us about the evening rituals that help them relax at bedtime, and they often mention sharing a cup of Sleepytime and singing lullabies with their families," said Jennifer Stolte, senior director of marketing at Celestial Seasonings, a subsidiary of Melville, N.Y.-based The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. "This was the inspiration behind the contest – show us your Sleepytime lullaby ritual, and if you win, we can help you make your bedroom into an even better place to wind down the day."

    Celestial Seasonings is also introducing several Sleepytime line extensions, including Sleepytime Peach and Sleepytime Kids Goodnight Grape Herbal Tea, the first variety made especially for kids.
