    The energy drink product line got a serious boost with the addition of four new items from PepsiCo.


    The energy drink product line got a serious boost with the addition of four new items from PepsiCo. The first three are part of the Purchase, N.Y.-based company's AMP Energy brand. Energy Lightning: Charge is a lemonade-flavored drink with L-Carnitine; Black Tea: Rebuild is a drink fortified with black tea, amino acids and antioxidants; and Green Tea: Defend is infused with antioxidants and Beta-Alanine. Additionally, the No Fear product line has introduced a new title, Bloodshot, marketed as an "AM" drink that includes real juice and vitamins to make up 150 percent of the daily recommended vitamins B and C.
