    Chief Taps Accelitec|interact for Customer Relationship Management

    The platform is slated to roll out during 2011’s second quarter.

    Chief Super Market Inc., which operates 12 stores in northwest and west central Ohio, has teamed with Accelitec|interact to introduce a customer relationship management platform throughout Chief’s store network. The platform will launch during the second quarter of 2011.

    While the benefits of the program have not yet been disclosed, Annette Hoeffel, director of marketing for Defiance, Ohio-based Chief, notes: “Our goal is to provide a better shopping experience for our customers by building relationships through the use of technology so that we can better understand, reward and take care of each individual as they come into the store. We aren’t making this program about price for our customers; we don’t want to get into that game.”

    Bellingham, Wash.-based Accelitec|interact delivers increases in key financial metrics through improved customer engagement.
