C&K CEO Sandeno Resigns

Greg Sandeno, president and CEO of Brookings, Ore.-based C&K Market, will resign from his post, effective Jan. 31.

In light of C&K's filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November, Sandeno (left) will assist the company through the process and remain in a consulting role through the finalization of the restructure plan.

Daily operations of the company will be handled jointly by Edward Hostmann, current chief restructuring officer, and Rocky Campbell, VP, operations, until a permanent CEO is named.

C&K Market Inc. operates 45 grocery stores under the Ray’s Food Place, Shop Smart and C&K Market banners.
