C&K Markets, owner and operator of Ray’s Food Place and ShopSmart Foods Warehouse, has enhanced its online presence for each of its banners, with added functionality and content.
The Brookings, Ore.-based retailer worked with Webstop.com, Inc. of Tampa, Fla., on the project. New features include advanced search capabilities, integration with over 5,000 online recipes, and adjustable font sizing. In addition, C&K increased the sites’ user-friendliness and navigation by displaying online shopping lists to the right of ad items. Visitors can browse the ad by page number or department, or they can search for specific items.
“It is a company goal to provide the most customer-friendly grocery Web sites available,” said Shawn Tuckett, Webstop.com’s director of business development; “If visitors don’t have an easy time getting around the Web site, don’t expect them to try again.”
The Web sites are supported with e-mail campaigns, and Ray’s holds monthly sweepstakes for online visitors.
