Country Hearth Welcomes Upper Midwesterners 'Home for the Holidays'

Bread brand Country Hearth has rolled out its first Home for the Holidays Sweepstakes, which targets grocery shoppers across the upper Midwest. Entrants have the chance to win one of four $1,000 cash awards.

Sponsored by St. Cloud, Minn.-based Pan-O-Gold Baking Co., the bakers of Country Hearth and Village Hearth breads, the sweepstakes, which ends Dec. 15, is open to Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Wisconsin residents 18 years old and up. Consumers can submit their entries online at www.CountryHearthBreads.com. Promotional elements encompass product packaging, in-store displays, radio ads, newspaper inserts, and Country Hearth's website and social media channels.

The aim of the campaign is to bolster communication with customers and draw traffic to Country Hearth’s newly expanded site. “The sweepstakes is really an opportunity to create dialogue with our customers,” explained Pan-O-Gold VP of sales Mark Ubl. "From our Facebook and Twitter pages, to inviting them to submit recipe ideas and offering nutritional information on our website, our goal is to hear more and offer more to customers and their families."

Pan-O-Gold also makes private label products for grocery, retail, restaurant and foodservice customers throughout its eight-state distribution area. The company employs over 1,000 workers at its bakery facilities in St. Cloud; Fargo, N.D.; and Sun Prairie, Wis.
