CVS Shoppers Sync Smartphones with Kodak Kiosks

CVS/pharmacy shoppers can now wirelessly upload images from their mobile devices to a Kodak Picture Kiosk to create a wide variety of photo products such as photo books, personal greetings and calendars, at CVS/pharmacy Photo Center locations nationwide.

“With the addition of the new in-store mobile printing service, available at thousands of CVS/pharmacy Photo Centers, our customers have another convenient option for creating photo gifts and greeting cards,” said Rob Price, CMO for CVS/pharmacy. “Offering Wi-Fi access at our photo kiosks is part of our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with easy one-stop shopping for personalized gifts this holiday season.”

To access the service, customers must download the free Kodak Kiosk Connect App – available in Google Play or the Apple App Store – to wirelessly and securely import personal photos from their mobile device to CVS/pharmacy Kodak Picture Kiosks. Once the mobile device is successfully synced to the Kodak Picture Kiosk, customers can then create their products.

In addition to expanding in-store photo services, CVS/pharmacy currently offers shoppers on-the-go printing options with the CVS/pharmacy Mobile app, allowing them to easily print photos directly from their smartphone or from their CVSphoto.com account for pick-up at a local CVS/pharmacy the very same day.

Woonsocket, R.I.-based CVS/pharmacy, the retail division of CVS Caremark Corporation, operates more than 7,400 CVS/pharmacy and Longs Drug stores.
