DaVinci Pasta has teamed with Mill Valley, Calif.-based Mollie Stone’s Market and a popular TV chef for the DaVinci Pasta “Cooking with Nick Stellino” Sweepstakes. The promotion will offer Bay Area shoppers a chance to win an instructional DaVinci Pasta dinner with Stellino at Artesa Vineyards & Winery.
After a demonstration by Palermo, Italy, native Stellino of pasta-cooking techniques for 25 winners and their guests in a classroom-style setting, during which he will use recipes he created for DaVinci Pasta, the group will dine together, tour the Napa Valley winery and receive copies of Stellino's new book, “Cooking with Friends.” “Nick Stellino Cooking with Friends” is also the name of the chef’s latest public television program.
“[S]ince each package of DaVinci Pasta is prepared with the finest traditional Italian ingredients, our winners will be able to recreate the experience whenever they want -- right in their very own kitchens,” noted Irene Suhaka, DaVinci marketing manager of the Boonton, N.J.-based gourmet pasta brand.
The sweepstakes runs from Aug. 24 through Sept. 28 at all nine Mollie Stone's Markets in the San Francisco region. Winners will be randomly chosen and revealed on Oct. 3, with the event featuring Stellino set for Oct. 22.
