NEW YORK-- As part of a developing housewares assortment, gourmet and specialty food retailer Dean and DeLuca has rolled out 16-foot displays of the Culinary Institute of America's (CIA) Masters Cookware Collection.
"We've always been known for our eclectic mix of housewares that's highly edited," said noted Tod Morehead, the retailer's e.v.p. merchandising, in a statement. "We wanted to make an assortment that's more modern, more comprehensive, and more seasonal."
Robinson Home Products is the licensee in an extensive line, brokered by Montclair, N.J.-based Broad Street Licensing Group and including over 100 SKUs of CIA-branded cookware, gadgets, bakeware, and cutlery, all sold exclusively to gourmet stores and specialty retailers.
Designed by the master chefs at the Hyde Park, N.Y. culinary institution for serious home cooks, the CIA Masters Collection, which deployed June 18, is the first comprehensive housewares program that Dean & DeLuca has rolled out in its stores.
Broad Street Licensing Group represents corporate trademarks, consumer brand names, and not-for-profit organizations, among them American Express, BIC USA, Burger King, Bruegger's Bagels, The Culinary Institute of America, Faberge, Rich's Foods, and Wildlife Trust.
