    Delhaize America Expands Nielsen Relationship

    Alliance with info provider will help guide retailer's strategies

    Delhaize America – parent company of Food Lion, Hannaford and Bottom Dollar Food – has signed a long-term agreement with Nielsen to be its primary and preferred information, insights and analytics partner.

    Delhaize America, the U.S. division of Brussels-based Delhaize Group, will be using Nielsen tools, data and resources to help guide their strategic and tactical business needs.

    Nielsen, a leading global provider of information and insights into what consumers watch and buy, has a presence in approximately 100 countries.
