A-B Heralds 2015 Busch Heroes

Anheuser-Busch has unveiled its slate of six men and women named 2015 Busch Heroes.

First introduced in 2014, the honor recognizes those who go "above and beyond" in their careers and make a difference in their communities.

The 2015 Busch Heroes are as follows:

  • Andrew Dunavant: Arborist from Richmond, Va.
  • Casey Culler: Arborist from Richmond, Va.
  • Dallas Puskar: Special education teacher and construction worker from Cleveland, Ohio
  • Dewey Hemilright: Commercial fisherman from Wanchese, N.C.
  • Mason Kern: Brick mason and former coast guardsman from Miramar, Fla.
  • Morgan Cook: Cattle farmer from Floral City, Fla.

Each member of the new class of Busch Heroes will appear on print advertisements, retail displays and region-specific billboards. Puskar, Hemilright and Cook will also have their stories told through mini-documentaries, which can be viewed on the Busch Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The new class of Heroes will also be joined by the eight 2014 Busch Heroes and showcased in regional Busch advertising throughout 2015.

“We heard incredible accounts from last year’s Busch Heroes about how their lives changed as a result of being recognized,” said Edison Yu, VP, Value Brands & Premium Lights for St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch. “Over the past year, each member of the 2014 class has lived up to the moniker of Busch Hero and earned the right to be celebrated again in 2015 along with our six new honorees.”

Busch heroes are nominated by friends, family or neighbors; the brand is currently seeking honorees for the 2016 campaign.
