Jacob's Creek Signs On as US Open's Official Wine Sponsor

Pernod Ricard USA's Jacob's Creek brand has signed on as the official wine and promotional partner of the US Open Championships, slated for Aug. 31 – Sept. 13.

A long-time supporter of professional tennis – including sponsorships of both the Australian Open and the China Open -- Jacob's Creek will provide samples to fans at a number of on-site locations in New York during the two-week tournament.

“We see a continued opportunity for premium Australian wine in the US, evident by the release of our Jacob’s Creek Two Lands range, a collaboration between Australian and Californian winemaking," said Jeff Agdern, SVP - Wines & Champagnes for New York-based Pernod Ricard USA

"The US Open provides a fantastic brand exposure opportunity for Jacob’s Creek, not only to the huge amount of fans who attend the championship, but also through retail activations throughout the US," Agdern added.

As part of the partnership, the brand will showcase its support for Novack Djokovic, current world No. 1 and star of Jacob's Creek "Made By" film series, which tells the story of Djokovic and his road to success.

The full Jacob’s Creek US Open 2015 activation will be revealed in the lead up to the event.
