Nestlé USA Named 2016 USC Marshall FIM Executive of the Year

Nestlé USA has been named 2016 Food Industry Executive of the Year by the Food Industry Management Program at the USC Marshall School of Business.

Normally presented to an individual food retailer who has demonstrated leadership and commitment to education, this is the first year that USC has given the award to a corporation.

“Nestlé is a terrific partner and long-time supporter of the Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC) and the Food Industry Management (FIM) program at USC," said Cynthia McCloud, FIM program director.

Recognized for taking a "long-term view on developing its future leaders," Nestlé  has been a WAFC scholarship donor for the USC Marshall FIM program for 56 years and each year, sends associates through the FIM program.

“Education and industry partnerships are vital in the development of individuals, companies and our broader industry,” said Vince Robinson, president of the Nestlé Sales Division, who will accept the award on the company's behalf. “The food industry is a great example where many leaders have progressed from entry level positions to executive leadership roles."
