In the Spotlight: Blount Organic Soups

Launch represents product, channel expansion for the brand

Fall River, Mass.-based Blount Fine Foods has unveiled the addition of 16-ounce organic soups, to be sold at retail under the Blount brand. Available in four flavors – Organic Vegetable Chili, Minestrone Soup, Tomato Bisque, and Lentil & Chick Pea Soup – Blount's new line represents not only a product expansion for the brand, but also a channel expansion as well, as Blount is also introducing 4-cup bulk packs for club stores. The new Blount organic soups, which have a 50-day shelf life from the date of manufacture, will ship refrigerated in cases of six.
