Southeastern Grocers, the Jacksonville, Fla.-based parent company of Bi-Lo, Fresco y Más, Harveys and Winn-Dixie stores, has revealed plans to expand its Harveys Supermarket store concept into central, west and north Florida markets. The expansion marks the banner’s first entry into central and west Florida.
Late last year, Southeastern Grocers refreshed legacy Harveys Supermarkets and rolled out the banner to additional Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina markets. Each new Harveys store is tailored to meet the needs of the surrounding community, with a focus on value, quality and customer service.
The stores, which will be converted from existing Winn-Dixie locations starting early next month, are in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Cocoa, Ocala (two) and Winter Haven.
There are currently 70 Harveys Supermarkets in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
