Campbell's Names New Sales Exec
CAMDEN, N.J. - Campbell Soup Sales Co., based here, on Friday appointed Mike Salzberg s.v.p. - U.S. Sales. Salzberg was previously s.v.p., sales and distribution of the Pepperidge Farm sales organization. Pepperidge Farm, headquartered in Norwalk, Conn., is a business unit of Campbell.
Salzberg will report to Larry McWilliams, President - U.S. Soup, Sauce and Beverages.
With the appointment of Salzberg, Denise Morrison, s.v.p. and chief customer officer, relinquishes her duties as acting v.p. - U.S. Sales.
Salzberg joined Pepperidge Farm in 1999 as customer v.p. for the Western Region. Prior to joining Pepperidge Farm in 1999, he spent 12 years at Pepsi-Cola Co., holding a variety of sales leadership roles, including v.p. of customer development. He began his career in sales at Gallo Winery.
