Kings Bows Balducci’s Branded Gourmet Goods
Kings Super Markets is launching a line of Balducci’s branded gourmet foods. As one of the most respected gourmet brands in the nation, Balducci’s products are available exclusively at Parsippany, N.J.-based Kings.
According to Kings, Balducci’s “tradition of unrivaled excellence and a passion for great food,” including fresh seasonal foods sourced directly from farmers and artisans, often produced in small batches, “was the Balducci’s rule long before it became a modern trend.”
In revealing the brand addition, the upscale grocer also said: “Balducci’s gourmet foods provide exactly what Kings customers have come to expect — the very best. From cold-pressed olive oil imported from Italy to an extensive collection of hard-to-find unique marinades, Balducci’s private label products are … essential ingredient[s] to any kitchen. Balducci’s gourmet foods provide gourmet quality at a reasonable price.”
There are six Balducci’s retail stores in Bethesda, Md.; Alexandria and McLean, Va.; Scarsdale, N.Y.; and Westport and Greenwich, Conn., as well as two Balducci’s Express locations in New York’s JFK Airport and the Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets in Virginia. Kings’ 24 stores are located in northern New Jersey and New York.
