Loblaw Launches 4th National ‘Big Brands’ Event

Loblaw Cos., Ltd. has rolled out the fourth nationwide “Big Brands” event at its banner stores in Quebec, Atlantic Canada, Ontario and western Canada, to bring shoppers super savings on such select items as coffee, paper towels, meat, seafood and general merchandise. During the two-week event, national-brand products from Kraft, Pepsi, Campbell’s Nestlé and Loblaw’s private label President’s Choice are on sale for half-price.

The promotion also enables customers who spend $25 or more on iTunes cards (available only at select locations) with a President’s Choice Financial MasterCard or President’s Choice Financial bank card to receive a bonus of 5,000 PC points. Shoppers can also save $20 off select Samsung handsets for PCMobile and $10 off the purchase of a $20 PC long-distance card with an in-flyer coupon.

“We are dedicated to providing great value and helping customers save money on ‘must-have’ essentials, favorite household staples and more,” said Julija Hunter, VP, public relations at Brampton, Ontario-based Loblaw. “With March Break around the corner, hopefully some of these savings will provide our customers with some extra money for family fun.”

Later this month, the grocer’s shoppers can take advantage of savings on select national brands and Club Pack items during the Buy Big and Save Big sale at Maxi and Maxi & Cie stores in Quebec, and nofrills in Ontario, Atlantic Canada and western Canada.
