Rosie Adds Three Retailers to e-Commerce Platform

Rosie, the Ithaca, N.Y.-based grocery e-commerce platform, expanded into three additional states with new customers, including Highland Park Market in Connecticut, West’s Plaza Country Mart in Kansas and Elmer’s County Market in Michigan.

Elmer’s County Market introduced Elmer’s Express to its customers in Escanaba, Mich. Customers can pick up their items at the store seven days a week. “We’re excited to be the first in our area to offer online grocery shopping,” said Rod Stende, GM for Elmer’s.

Shoppers in Abilene, Kansas also will be able to place grocery orders online at Country Mart Xpress, West’s Plaza Country Mart’s new e-commerce site. West’s Plaza is part of the 14 Country Mart stores in Kansas.

Highland Park Market, a landmark in Manchester, Connecticut for more than 100 years, has offered e-commerce for more than a decade, but recently switched its provider to Rosie. The new Highland in a Hurry service offers delivery and in-store pickup at the Farmington, Glastonbury, Manchester and Suffield locations.

“Quality customer service is at the heart of our business and our people come first,” said Tim Devanney, VP of operations for Highland Park Market. “Between Rosie’s ease of use and variety of products to better communication and customer support, we’re able to offer our consumers a much better online shopping experience.”

Rosie works with retailers nationwide to create customized online shopping programs that provide everything from integration with other retail partners to a dedicated customer support team.
