Sendik’s Introduces Online Shopping

Sendik’s Food Markets now offers online grocery service in seven of its 12 stores in the Milwaukee area. Sendik’s Express allows customer to select and pay for groceries via the company’s website and pick them up at the store of their choosing. It's the first of its kind service in the Milwaukee area, the company said.

“Sendik’s Express offers the same high-quality products that are available in our stores, along with the trusted, personalized service our customers have come to expect,” said Mark Birmingham, Sendik’s executive director of new business development.

The website offers more than 40,000 products for sale, nearly everything in the store. The site also enables customers to shop from the weekly specials as well as create and save shopping lists and favorite items.

“With families more and more crunched for time, Sendik’s Express helps make our customers’ lives a bit easier,” said Chris House, director of e-commerce. “With the ability to shop anytime, from anywhere, they can get back to spending more time with family and friends.”

Sendik’s Express pick-up is available 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekends. Pick up times are selected at the time the order is placed and orders must be placed four hours in advance. A $5.95 fee applies to all orders with no minimum purchase required.
