To celebrate the M&M’S character that consumers voting for the past month will ultimately name America’s favorite, music superstar and business tycoon Sean “Diddy” Combs will host a special M&M’S Color Party in New York City. The event will mark the first time consumers can choose the color of one of Combs’ famous themed bashes. Invitations will go to one M&M’S fan and 20 friends, who can win by registering online for the Party Like Diddy Sweepstakes. combs will also meet the winner beforehand for help in planning his first-ever Red or Green or Yellow or Orange or Blue Party.
“This year, I’m touring North America and Europe to promote my new album, Last Train to Paris, so unfortunately I can’t throw my annual White Party,” noted Combs. “But I wanted to make sure there was at least one colorful affair on the calendar this summer, so I’ll be producing the M&M’S Color Party, in honor of America’s favorite M&M’S character.”
Eligible U.S. residents must register for the sweepstakes at www.MMS.com by noon on July 6, 2010. As well as getting to attend the party experience, the winner will receive travel and accommodations for them and a guest to meet Diddy at the party-planning session, in addition to travel and accommodations for 20 partygoers.
Fans can additionally register to win other prizes while voting for their favorite M&M’S character, among them a $50,000 cash prize, an M&M’S branded guitar and a $25 M&M’S Discover debit card.
