Dierbergs Markets, Inc. has inked a deal with Six Flags St. Louis to become the theme park’s exclusive supermarket ticket outlet in the St. Louis metro area. The agreement calls for the 23-store supermarket chain to sell discounted one-day tickets and season passes to Missouri’s largest theme park, with child-priced one-day tickets available for all customers at $31 each and season passes for $59.99.
“Six Flags is one of the top entertainment attractions in St. Louis, and we’re very pleased with this opportunity to bring ticket-purchasing convenience to our customers,” said Andy Pauk, Dierbergs SVP/COO. “It’s a program that fits within our goals to provide customers with products, services and conveniences that are unique to their grocery shopping experience with us.”
Program elements include in-store signage at the fourth-generation grocer’s stores and presence in the grocer’s existing marketing efforts across a variety of platforms. The family held suburban St. Louis-based Dierbergs will also be included in the park’s print and broadcast advertising, with additional exposure through in-park print displays, digital advertising networks and special events.
Dierbergs Markets is a family-owned business with 23 St. Louis metropolitan-area grocery stores.
