Door to Door Organics, the Louisville, Colo.-based online-only natural and organic foods retailer with delivery into nine states, will be adding fresh prepared meals to its menu beginning Friday.
“It’s a real challenge to have fresh, healthy meals ready for lunch and dinner every day,” said Chad Arnold, president and CEO of Door to Door Organics. “We want to offer a delicious, simple and convenient solution for those that are pressed for time, but still want to choose good food that positively impacts their health, the environment, and our communities.”
Fresh prepared meals will launch to Kansas City customers first, starting March 15. Other Door to Door Organics locations, based in Colorado, Illinois, Michigan (including delivery into Ohio), and Pennsylvania (including delivery into New Jersey and Delaware), will add fresh prepared meals to their offerings over the next six to 12 months.
Door to Door Organics will be carrying a rotating weekly assortment of meals, all of which serve from three to four people, including four main dishes for $13.99 each, four side dishes at $11.99 each, snacks such as kale chips and hummus ($7.99-$9.99) and a dessert ($12.99 each). Customers can order their prepared meals via the Door to Door Organics website.
